Hello! I am Ana Suárez, an entrepreneur and mother of two boys. I balance my passion for cooking at La Hormiga with my role as a mother, dedicating the mornings to the business while my children are at school, and the afternoons to my family.
Although my academic background is in Tourism, my love for cooking began at a young age, watching my mother and grandmother prepare dishes full of tradition and flavor. My first steps in this exciting world were cooking from home for friends who didn't have time to cook, participating in food markets, and working for years in a catering service.
After the pandemic, I decided to take a step further and open my first takeaway food store, a small place that allowed me to connect in a special way with my customers, many of whom have become great friends.
At La Hormiga, my goal is to offer you a home-like experience, with simple but delicious dishes, prepared daily with natural and high-quality ingredients. Our proposal focuses mainly on traditional Spanish cuisine, the kind that fills us with memories and with which we have grown up. I follow time-honored recipes and pay special attention to every detail, from flavor to texture, because my customers are my guests and I want them to enjoy every bite.
I am 100% committed to this project, working day by day to improve and learn. My greatest satisfaction is seeing my customers happy, well-fed, and eager to return.
